Abstract Alpine Minerals
Discovered in the spring of 2013, we have had a blast taking these images! A difficult subject to shoot, we hope 2014 gives us more opportunities for crazy color and designs. The scene happens when naturally occuring minerals ooze from the ground beside a stream. Mixing with the mountain spring water, the views change depending on water flow, type of light, and the amount of minerals. Nature has a way of giving to us views that are beautiful as well as incredibly colorful! The abstract mineral images are presented exactly as we see them - no photoshop necessary. With such a variety of designs and colors, it still amazes us that all these images come from the same location! Here's hoping 2014 gives us some more opportunies to capture some eye candy.
